The Tornado camera is contained within a new 4000m compact stainless steel housing fitted with a high quality water corrected acrylic view port. The cameras plano-concave view port reduces the effects of refraction and eliminates chromatic aberration. The Tritech MD4000 Manipulator Camera is specifically designed to mount on ROV manipulator arms, enhancing ROV work tasks in both clear and turbid waters. The manipulator camera produces extremely high resolution colour pictures and has integrated white LED's which provide uniform illumination across the camera viewing area.
