The Super SeaKing Dual Frequency Profiling Sonar uses the latest technological advances available in transducer design. It provides high quality cross-sectional profile data of the seabed surface never before available from a mechanical scanning profiler. The Super SeaKing Dual Frequency Profiler has been designed with a hard boot, which offers increased damage protection over conventional profiling sonars. The SeaKing Parametric Sub-Bottom Profiler (SBP) obtains a clear picture of what lies below the seabed. This compact, low power unit is ideal for ROV and AUV use. The system is capable of penetrating the seabed and highlighting siesmic structural differences that are hidden from view to conventional echosounders. As part of the SeaKing suite of survey sensors, it is possible to run the Parametric Sub-Bottom Profiler simultaneously with a number of SeaKing sensors over one communication link. More... |
