Tritech SeaKing Roll Sensor
The Tritech SeaKing Roll Sensor (SKRS) has been specifically designed to meet the demand for real time roll corrected profile data.
When interfaced to a Tritech SeaKing or SeaPrince profiling sonar the SKRS Roll Sensor allows real time roll correction of survey data.
Roll data is continuously broadcast and sampled in real time with the profiler data. The sampling is carried out on a ping-by-ping basis and integrated seamlessly into the profile data stream.
The Seanet SCU displays the measured roll angle and corrected profiles on the online display. Raw and corrected data is made available for interfacing to the survey computer with time-sampled identification.
Designed specifically to increase the efficiency of pipeline profile surveying the SeaKing Roll Sensor has been built with the provision being made for the addition of a tilt sensor inside the same housing.
