Brexit – Preparation for UK’s exit from EU – Communication to Customers.
As you are most likely aware, the United Kingdom (UK) is scheduled to leave the European Union (EU) on the 30th March 2019. Negotiations are continuing between the EU and the UK and therefore the precise details surrounding the exit are still unknown. In the event that there is no agreement reached between the UK and the EU, prior to the UK’s exit from the EU, import and export delays/restrictions may apply for trade with the UK.
The precise impact on imports and exports are unknown at this time however, we will continue to monitor the situation over the coming weeks and endeavor to ensure that there is as little impact as possible on business with our customers in the event of no agreement being reached prior to the 30th March 2019.
As a company we have planned for potential delays in the supply of key material, ordering additional stock where required, to ensure we will have no delay in the production of Tritech equipment due to material shortages.
Our planning however does not protect against potential delays in the delivery of equipment to yourself in the event there is no agreement reached between the EU and UK prior to the 30th March 2019. We would encourage you to consider your potential requirements for Tritech equipment during the period soon after the UK’s planned departure from the EU. In the event you wish to discuss bringing forward some of your orders, then please contact our sales department to discuss your requirements.
